Introduction

The Bible speaks of a divine record—The Book of Life—in which are written the names of those who belong to God. This is not poetic symbolism; it’s a literal registry of eternity.

"Nothing impure will ever enter it... but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life."
— Revelation 21:27 (NIV)

The most important question you can ask yourself today is: Is my name written there?

1. What Is the Book of Life?

The “Book of Life” is mentioned throughout Scripture (Philippians 4:3; Revelation 3:5). It contains the names of those who have received salvation through Jesus Christ.

"But rejoice that your names are written in heaven."
— Luke 10:20 (ESV)

Being a good person is not enough. Church attendance is not enough. Only faith in Jesus secures your name in that book.

2. Can Names Be Removed?

"I will never blot out the name of that person from the book of life."
— Revelation 3:5 (NIV)

This promise suggests that names can be blotted out—meaning this is not a list to take for granted. We must abide in Christ and persevere in faith.

3. How Can I Be Sure My Name Is There?

  • Accept Jesus as Lord and Savior (Romans 10:9)

  • Repent and be baptized (Acts 2:38)

  • Walk daily in obedience and love (John 15:10)

Reflection Questions

  • Have I surrendered my life fully to Jesus?

  • Am I living as one who belongs to the Kingdom of Heaven?

  • Who in my life needs to be pointed to the Lamb?

Jesus Loves you

🔥 Eternity Is Real – Episode Nine: Hell Is Real, and Jesus Warned Us First

ðŸ”¥  Eternity Is Real – Episode Nine: Hell Is Real, and Jesus Warned Us First Published on:  10 May 2025 Author:  Ephzibah Behulah Estimated reading time:  4 minutes Introduction Hell is not a myth, metaphor, or medieval fear tactic.  Jesus Himself spoke more about hell than anyone else in Scripture —not to scare us, but to save us. "Do not fear those who kill the body... rather fear Him who can destroy both soul and body in hell." —  Matthew 10:28 (ESV) Ignoring hell doesn’t make it disappear. Pretending it’s not real is spiritual suicide.  Hell is the eternal destination of all who reject Christ . 1. What Is Hell? Hell is described as a place of: Fire and torment  (Luke 16:24) Darkness and isolation  (Matthew 25:30) Eternal separation from God  (2 Thessalonians 1:9) It is not God's desire for anyone to go there (Ezekiel 18:23), but He allows us the freedom to choose. 2. Jesus Came to Save Us From It "For God so loved the world... ...
